Evidence, Law of

Evidence for Prosecutors
NCDA
COURSE DATE:
April 25-29, 2010
LOCATION: San Francisco, CA

A working knowledge of the Rules of Evidence is essential to a prosecutor’s success in and out of the courtroom. The ability to correctly weigh the probability of admissibility of evidence is a key factor in the charging decision, negotiation, court presentation and appellate argument of a case. An understanding and ability to anticipate and prepare for defense claims is also essential. Hear about the Report From the National Academy of Sciences regarding Forensic Sciences.

At the Evidence for Prosecutors course the College faculty will provide a comprehensive overview of the federal rules while discussing the relationship of the rules to each other, the common law and their applicability to certain types of evidence.
