Medical, Dental, and Vision plans are offered to all NDAA regular full time employees.
Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance
NDAA automatically provides basic life and basic AD&D to all employees.
Short- and Long-Term Disability
NDAA automatically provides basic short-term and long-term disability to all employees.
Flexible Spending Plan
NDAA offers a health care flexible spending account and a dependent care flexible spending account to allow individuals to pay for eligible health care expenses (including many over-the-counter medications) and dependent care expenses (including child) on a pre-tax basis.
403(b) Retirement Plan
NDAA offers a 403(b) Retirement Plan through Lincoln Life. All employees are eligible to participate. After six months of employment, NDAA matches the employee’s contributions up to five percent.
Holidays and Vacation
NDAA observes all ten federal holidays with one exception: instead of closing the office on Columbus Day, NDAA closes the office on the Friday following Thanksgiving.
Leave hours are accrued on a bi-weekly basis and can be used as accrued. In the first year, a new employee can accrue up to 10 annual days, three personal days, and 12 sick days. Annual leave increases with your time at NDAA.
NDAA provides garaged parking. NDAA is located in Canal Center Plaza, which offers a small onsite fitness facility and a free shuttle from the Braddock Street Metro station to the building for all regular employees.
