NDAA's

 2026 Sexual Assault Conference
October 6–8, 2026 | San Antonio, TX

Advancing Justice in Sexual Assault Cases

Sexual assault cases are rarely straightforward.

They are often shaped by trauma, evolving evidence, delayed disclosure, digital communication, and victim behavior that may be misunderstood or misinterpreted throughout the life of a case.

Prosecution teams are asked to make critical decisions at every stage—sometimes with incomplete information, shifting victim participation, limited physical evidence, and growing pressure to help juries understand complex dynamics clearly and thoughtfully.

Building cases that hold under those conditions requires strategy, collaboration, and intentional case development.

NDAA’s 2026 Sexual Assault Conference is designed to support that work.

This is not a theoretical program. It is a practical, prosecution-focused training built around how sexual assault cases are assessed, developed, litigated, and understood in real-world practice.

Participants will examine how cases evolve from intake through trial strategy, how victim behavior and contextual evidence shape case development, and how prosecution teams can strengthen case theory, corroboration, and courtroom presentation in complex cases.

What You Will Do in This Program

This conference combines practical instruction, applied workshops, and real-world discussion designed to connect strategy directly to practice.

Throughout the program, participants will:

  • Build stronger cases through corroboration beyond physical evidence

  • Apply trauma-informed approaches to victim behavior and case development

  • Develop litigation strategies involving expert testimony and admissibility

  • Strengthen approaches to jury selection and case framing

  • Examine digital evidence and technology-facilitated exploitation

  • Analyze SART findings and no-injury cases within broader case theory

  • Engage in applied case workshops and strategic simulations

But just as important as the content is the room.

A Room Built for Real Case Work

This program is designed for prosecutors and multidisciplinary partners actively handling domestic violence cases.

Participants learn alongside peers from across the country, examining how different offices approach similar challenges—what holds, what shifts, and what strengthens a case over time.

Sessions emphasize practical application, connecting early case decisions to how cases are ultimately presented in court.

You will not just hear about strategy.
You will work through how cases are built, interpreted, and presented under real conditions.
