August 4-7, 2008
- Chicago, Illinois

How about a real cool deal. Quality hands–on training tailored specifically for your Cross Examination concerns! What is the toughest area for many prosecutors? What is the skill you most want to refine? Where does the defense try to stump us most? What new fangled defense claim is being touted? Who is their expert?

This program consists of three (3) full days and one half day of presentations, discussion workshop and presentation workshop format you have come to appreciate at the National Advocacy Center. We are partnering with local law schools in the regions to facilitate these segments. By combining trial techniques from our Cross Examination and Trial Advocacy II courses and adding a little extra we have developed a new Strategic Cross Examination course. Through foundational lectures, brainstorming workshops and dynamic performance exercises our experienced faculty will help you plan and develop precise cross examination strategies for defense witnesses and experts.

FINE TUNE your litigation skills, NETWORK with prosecutors from across the country facing the same challenges, WORK ONE ON ONE with the experts and with our veteran faculty, EARN CLE’s & SAVE Money!!!!

Prosecutors will work with case scenarios involving four types of expert witnesses: medical doctors, psychologists, DNA experts and toxicologists. Those attending will be handling the types of cutting edge issues prosecutors face on their dockets daily with technical and scientific experts.

For those offices who wish to use asset forfeiture funds for training, please note one of the charges the prosecutors will work with involves a methamphetamine case.

There will also be 1.5 hours of ethics and professionalism.
