Assistant State Attorney (Sex Crimes & Child Abuse Unit)

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

The State Attorney’s Office for the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit of Florida is responsible for the prosecution of all crimes committed in Broward county. We seek Assistant State Attorneys who are objective, exercise good judgment, and are committed to the pursuit of fair and equitable justice for all members of the community.

This position is for an experienced attorney to fill a grant position created in our Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Unit. Applicants must be a member in good standing with The Florida Bar. Applicants must possess a strong interest in being a trial lawyer and have excellent communication and critical thinking skills. Applicants must have good time management and organizational skills. Applicant must be able to work independently and as a team member.
