The Deputy District Attorney I is an entry level attorney; responsibilities include managing a county court docket and developing trial skills; acts as a professional representative of the Office of the District Attorney; follows office policies and procedures; seeks guidance, as necessary; demonstrates a strong work ethic and sound ethical judgment; works well with staff, victims, witnesses, co-workers, and court staff; treats co-workers, the public, defendants, and defense attorneys with respect; maintains the highest level of professionalism; at all times maintains the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and ethics.
