The Virginia Association of Commonwealth’s Attorneys seeks full-time Administrator for its Board. Minimum requirements: Possess and demonstrate strong organizational skills; Possess highly developed communication and advocacy skills; Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to be a passionate and persuasive communicator with excellent interpersonal skills; Would describe oneself as “a self-starter”, self-motivated; Possess strong management skills to navigate and work with a Board; Have experience in developing, implementing and evaluating a strategic plan; Be able to implement activities to achieve the mission, goals and policies of the association by mobilizing the energy and expertise of the full membership; Be able to interact with numerous agencies to include law-enforcement and state/government agencies, in particular Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Services Council; Demonstrate the ability to identify, obtain and manage and other public or private sources of revenue; Possess a working knowledge of criminal prosecution to include, the mechanics of the legislative process as to how criminal laws are created (experience with the process is a plus); Possess working knowledge of current information technology to include office management and budget programs; Be able to travel within the Commonwealth.
