April 20 – 24, 2020

Columbia, SC

National Advocacy Center

For over 45 years NDAA has developed and facilitated exceptional hands-on trial advocacy courses; providing for prosecutors a realistic strategic based training simulating their courtroom experience. NDAA hands-on trial advocacy training includes foundational lectures, demonstrations and guided workshops designed to hone prosecutors’ litigation skills. This hands-on trial advocacy training is designed for prosecutors with 2-5 years’ experience. Work with case scenarios as experienced faculty members provide overviews of key aspects of pretrial preparation, case analysis, theme development, opening statement, direct and cross-examination, closing argument and use of visuals.  Receive hands-on guidance to implement techniques discussed by faculty members in their foundational overviews. Attendees will receive immediate constructive feedback of live performance exercises and videotaped performances, and follow up guidance as needed.
