Virtual: Maintaining Relationships with Crime Victims During the COVID-19 Pandemic

January 14, 2021

Webinar
2:00 pm ET
60-minute presentation includes a Q&A session

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, prosecutors and court staff have expressed concerns about connecting with and maintaining relationships with victims of crimes, especially victims of intimate partner violence. Some of these concerns included: lack of reporting due to a fear that their partner would be arrested and, thus, potentially exposed to COVID-19; defendants being released and the potential for re-victimization; privacy concerns; ensuring the victims are receiving appropriate services; and maintaining a prosecutor-victim relationship that leads to trust.

Join CNA & NDAA, in partnership with AEquitas, in a virtual discussion to address these concerns. This discussion will include a Q&A session in which the panelists will answer questions submitted during registration.

Patti Powers, Attorney Advisor, AEquitas
