2019 NDAA Capital Conference

Special Discount: The first two (2) attendees from an office pay full tuition, then each additional attendee from the same office will receive a $50 discount when registered at the same time.

The annual conference provides an opportunity for NDAA members to hear from Administration, agency and Capitol Hill speakers, as well as meet and engage with their individual members of Congress and state delegations. With the State of the Union Address likely to take place on January 29, attending the Capital Conference is an in-person opportunity to stay informed of the latest happenings in our nation’s capital.

Program Highlights:

  • A review of judiciary priorities with House Judiciary Committee ranking member Congressman Doug Collins (R-GA); 
  • A discussion of state & local prosecutors legislative priorities with Congresswoman Kathleen Rice (D-NY);
  • An overview of the First Step Act and what comes next as Congress and the White House review the American criminal justice system;
  • A networking reception at the new National Law Enforcement Museum

Tuesday, January 29

Conference Presentations
NDAA hosts key policymakers from the current White House Administration, federal agencies, and Capitol Hill to speak with conference attendees. Past presentations include briefings from U.S. Senators and updates from White House staff on the Administration’s legislative priorities.

Wednesday, January 30
8am to 5:30pm
Hill meetings
You will have the opportunity to meet and discuss policy issues with the office of your U.S. Senator or local member of the U.S. House of Representatives. All attendees are encouraged to schedule Capitol Hill meetings by reaching out to your Senator or Representative. Information to help you start scheduling your meetings can be found on the official website for each member of Congress.  Please note, prior to your meetings, NDAA staff will provide the 2019 NDAA Legislative Priority List for each attendee to review. Over 150 elected and line prosecutors are expected to attend the Capital Conference. Organizations that wish to help support the justice community are welcome to join us at this event as a sponsor. For a $5,000 commitment, NDAA will:

  • Invite one of your representatives to join us at the conference.
  • List your organization on our conference press releases (2 minimum), which reaches 2,500 elected and appointed District Attorneys across the United States as well as 40,000 Assistant District Attorneys.
  • List your organization as a sponsor on our conference page on NDAA.org.

NDAA would also be happy to explore larger and more customized packages with interested sponsors.
