District Attorney Investigator

Location: 5th Judicial District, CO

It is the mission of the 5th Judicial District Attorney’s Office to fairly and equitably uphold and enforce the laws of the State of Colorado, and to seek justice in all cases. The position of DA Investigator is to conduct investigations of all statutorily mandated crimes for the District Attorney’s Office; to analyze, summarize and submit findings of investigations to the District Attorney for the purpose of filing criminal complaints; to prepare criminal cases for hearings and trial; to interpret and explain the provisions of laws, rules and regulations related to the purpose of an investigation; and to perform related duties and responsibilities as required.

This position is hybrid and will be performed both on-site and remote as job duties require. Work hours Monday through Friday, with typical hours of 8am to 5pm. This full-time position has a starting annual salary of $80,000 DOE. We also offer a generous benefits package, on-going trainings / continuing education.
