NDAA Supports Legislation to End Human Trafficking on the Road

In early July, the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee held a hearing on transportation and its nexus with human trafficking. As part of that hearing, Chairman Thune (R-SD), Ranking Member Nelson (D-FL) and Senator Klobuchar (D-MN) introduced the No Human Trafficking on Our Roads Act, which would ban for life an individual's commercial driver's license if convicted of using a commercial motor vehicle to commit a human trafficking felony. NDAA issued a support letter for that legislation that can be found here.
