Career Prosecutor Course

The Career Prosecutor Course is a must for every career prosecutor.  With a combination of skill-building performance workshops, trial skills lectures, lectures on substantive topics, this eight-day course gives prosecutors the opportunity to practice skills in a supportive environment and access to experienced faculty.

Topics include:

  • DNA: The Science and Trial Practicalities
  • Mentoring Younger Attorneys
  • The Sexual Assault Case
  • Preparing for Appellate Review
  • How to Prepare for Cross-Examination and Experts
  • Small Group Workshops in Direct and Cross-Examination

This course is intended for prosecutors with 4 + years of experience.

Special Discounts:

  • The first attendee from an office pay full tuition, then each additional attendee from the same office will receive a $100 discount when registered at the same time.
  • Multidisciplinary teams of three or more disciplines will receive a $50 discount on all registrations. Please email the Course Director Kristi Browning or Project Coordinator Cierra Jenkins with your team members’ contact information in order to receive the discount.
  • All active military members will receive a 10% discount on the course registration. Military members are not eligible for the $50 team discount.

Registration fees are non-refundable. However, if you need to cancel your registration, the fees paid may be credited toward any other NDAA training within twelve months from the date of the original cancellation.

NDAA adheres to a policy of non-discrimination in admissions and administration.

Anticipated CLE credits will be 40 hours including 1.5 hour of ethics. NDAA will apply for CLE credit in Virginia, Tennessee, and Ohio. All other states will require the attorney to self-submit using their uniform certificate provided at the end of the course. $273.00 – Single/Double – plus tax

  • Room rate includes complimentary high-speed internet access in guestroom
  • The hotel group room rate will be applicable three (3) days prior and three (3) days after the official group program dates based on availability

Rooms will be guaranteed by the guests’ major credit card or first night’s deposit. The deposit becomes non-refundable or the credit card will be charges if the guest does not arrive or cancels after 6pm local time on the date of arrival.
