It’s 2021 and things have changed. The public has higher expectations of prosecutors than ever before. Not only must we be excellent lawyers and public servants – we must now be master communicators as well. This course is designed to help prosecutors and their staff, attorneys and non-attorneys meet the modern demands for transparency within the bounds of their ethical obligations. Whether your office is large or small, you will learn practical and accessible tips for leveling up your communication. Just as importantly, you will learn how to avoid common communication land mines. Traditional media, website and social media, and community outreach strategies will be discussed.

The National District Attorneys Association (NDAA), with the assistance of the American College of Trial Lawyers Foundation, is able to provide tuition assistance for Prosecutors who would like to attend our courses. CLE

Continuing Legal Education Credits: 6.00 hours

NDAA has applied for CLE credit in the states of Georgia, Kansas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Virginia.

Zoom will log each attendee’s “time in session” for the webinar. All attendees who sign into the webinar and complete the session will be sent a copy of the PowerPoint presentation, speaker biography, and a Uniform CLE Certificate from NDAA staff following the event.

Attendees must self-submit this course for approval in their home state. All attorneys are responsible for any fees associated with CLE filing. Attorneys seeking CLE credit should contact their state bar associations for more information. Eligibilty

NDAA’s mission to serve and support prosecutors and their staff. In consideration of this commitment, NDAA requires that all those in attendance of our programs currently work in or work closely with prosecution: NDAA invites prosecutors (Chief Prosecutors and line prosecutors), executive staff, human resources staff, PIO’s, non-attorney administrative professionals, paralegals, investigators, and attorneys in local, state, tribal, federal and military government attorneys’ offices.
