Are you waiting until the week before trial to interview your expert? If you have answered yes to any of these questions, then stop right here and register for this webinar! Our veteran faculty member will discuss the impediments in direct examination as well as the essential ways your expert can assist you in preparing for the defense expert. She will provide successful strategies to enhance the juror’s understanding by maximizing the strength of your expert as your expert assists in advancing your factual and legal theory. Join us as she walks you through examples of techniques to avoid stilted questions that are ineffective and boring. Take advantage of this opportunity to ask questions and obtain workable strategies!

Continuing Legal Education Credits: 1.25 hours
This course is pending approval in Georgia, Kansas, Ohio, South Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia. NDAA will not be applying for CLE credit in the state of Texas. Many states will allow attorneys to receive CLE credit for virtual courses that have been approved in one of these states through reciprocity or self-submission. Please speak with your CLE accrediting body to ensure that they will allow you to self-submit the course for approval if your state is not listed above.
GoToWebinar will log each attendee’s “time in session” for the webinar. All attendees who sign into the webinar and complete the session will be sent a copy of the PowerPoint presentation, speaker biography, and a Uniform CLE Certificate from NDAA staff following the event.
Attendees must self-submit this course for approval in their home state. All attorneys are responsible for any fees associated with CLE filing. Attorneys seeking CLE credit should contact their state bar associations for more information. General questions or additional information regarding CLE credit can be directed to Project Coordinator Metria Hernandez at mhernandez@ndaajustice.org.
