The Executive Course

The National District Attorneys Association is pleased to announce that the 2022 Executive Course will be held June 7-9, 2022, in Washington, DC.  This course is designed for the prosecution leadership within your office and will address some of the unprecedented challenges facing the field of prosecution in 2022.  Whether you are the chief prosecutor, first assistant, or deputy chief, whether you handle agency funding, media coordination, or public and court relations, or whether you are in any position of leadership within your office, this course is designed for you.  Join our faculty of experienced leaders, who will discuss successful strategies around communication, media, ethical leadership, establishing a victim centered approach to prosecution, and more.

The National District Attorneys Association (NDAA), with the assistance of the American College of Trial Lawyers Foundation, is able to provide tuition assistance for Prosecutors who would like to attend our courses. Please find information regarding scholarship eligibility and the application process here.

Tuition must be paid in full prior to the first day of the course. You will not be admitted if you have an outstanding balance. If you would like to make a payment on-site, please see the Program Director upon arrival.

Payments may be made by check, money order or credit card.

NDAA Cancellation, Refund & Substitution Policy:

Please submit all requests to NDAA in writing via email to Logan Silverman at lsilverman@ndaajustice.org. All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made 30 calendar days prior to the first day of the NDAA event to receive a full refund. Full refunds cannot be approved for requests received after this date. Should you need to cancel your registration less than 30 days but more than 14 days before the event, a 75% refund will be granted with a written request. NDAA regrets that refunds/credit will not be given for cancellations within 14 days of the event or for no-shows. However, substitutions are gladly accepted at any time. Should another office member want to attend the course in your place please contact Logan Silverman at lsilverman@ndaajustice.org. Training credit must be applied to a new registration prior to September 30, 2022.

Anticipated CLE credits will be 12.25 hours including 1.5 hours of ethics.

NDAA has applied for CLE credit in Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, Ohio, Pennslyvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia based on state requirements and guidelines. All other attorneys seeking CLE credit should contact their state bar for more information. At the conclusion of the course and after completion of the electronic evaluation survey, all attendees will receive a uniform continuing education certificate that they may use to report their continuing education hours to their state bar or reporting agency. Questions regarding CLE can be directed to Project Coordinator, Courtney Jan at cjan@ndaajustice.org.

This course is suitable for all prosecutors (state and local, federal, military, and tribal).  Recommended attendees include elected or appointed chief prosecutors, first assistant prosecutors, deputy chief prosecutors and other executive level personnel.

Optional Tour of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (on your own). Timed Tickets available every 15 minutes between 2:00 – 3:00 pm on Thursday, June 9th.
