Join us on May 9, 2024, for the second webinar in NDAA’s Trial Advocacy Academy – 101 Series – Anticipating and Rebutting Defenses. The ability of a prosecutor to anticipate and rebut defenses provides tactical and strategic advantages at trial and it is a necessary step in successful case preparation.  Building from the analytical advocacy concepts taught during NDAA’s first Trial Advocacy Academy session, this presentation will aim to provide you with an understanding of the most common defenses raised and practical tips on how to rebut potential defenses at every stage of your case.

Continuing Legal Education Credits: 1.50 hour

Continuing Legal Education Credits: This course has been approved for 1.50 credit hours in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Virginia. NDAA has applied for CLE credit in Kansas, Mississippi, Ohio, and Texas based on state requirements and guidelines. All other attorneys seeking CLE credit should contact their state bar for more information. At the conclusion of the course and after completion of the electronic evaluation survey, all attendees will receive a uniform continuing education certificate that they may use to report their continuing education hours to their state bar or reporting agency. Questions regarding CLE can be directed to cle@ndaajustice.org.
